RE-MEMBERING

the elements bring it all together through their relationship to each other. They remind us how we can cultivate dynamics with ourselves and our word. Healing happens in relationship, just like everything else.

We live in a world

A world lives in us

As earth, water, fire, air, and ether combine they create hot cold wet and dry. These, like the weather, are the conditions that create all phenomena including our own lives.

the elements show us a way back to wholeness in times becoming more pathologically fragmented. They give us something beyond and behind body mind connection. They give us Belonging.

After over 10 years of study and practice of the elemental sciences, Yoga and Ayurveda , within an ever shifting landscape of wellness trends, my confidence is constantly affirmed in these modalities abilities to help people touch into their deepest needs to re-member and nourish who they are.

Everyone is sick of getting spun out by never ending appointments,  specialists, and symptoms. Yoga and ayurved show us through their interlocking methods of action aimed at the root of our suffering, how we can cultivate basic belonging in our bodies and blossom in the world.

“The wellness world is sick. Selling us more and ways to be less ourselves. To control rather than cultivate.to regulate instead of regenerate. to grind instead of grow ”

you may have noticed how the elements express as hot cold wet and dry, and meet our inner world through our gates of perception, the senses. cultivating our relationship to sense experience or “somatic awareness” with the original grounded methods of yoga and meditation allows us to strengthen our skills in observation. These skills help to be with the reality of the shifting moment so we can balance the elements within it.

Ayurveda has a genius way of narrowing in on a focused understanding of our own elemental make up so our life path can open up under our feet and new  horizons can widen in front of us.

This isn’t another list of to-dos this is a practice of being in creative relationship with phenomena.
